DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND SERVICES
Essential Media is a business that specializes in the Print media, marketing, advertising and design with in Publishing Industry of Magazines (both Print and Digital) The Magazine is unique to the wedding industry as it caters for both the bride & groom, we focuses on the Wedding Industry both Locally and Internationally. Essential Media owns and distributes Wedding Essentials and Essential Groom Magazines as well as offering Advertisement platforms, such as in the print and digital magazine, Online marketing on both wedding websites for the bride and groom. Printed copies of the Magazine can be purchased nationwide at selected retail stores, and the digital issue is made available on our Essential store, Magster, Zinio, press reader and 4Me
DELIVERY POLICY
Subject to availability of goods and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 (working) days and delivered through a third party courier company.
EXPORT RESTRICTIONS
Any Physical products offered on this website or the online store are available to South African clients only, digital products and services are available worldwide.
RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
The provision of goods and services by Essential Media is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability (Essential Media will refund the client in-full within 30 days) Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 50% administration fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
• A 50 % cancellation fee is required on any and all cancellations.
• No cancellations (2 hour) prior to the advert going live on the website will be accepted. If cancelled during that period then the FULL advert fee will be due and payable.
• Special positions cannot be cancelled.
• Interest at 15.5% per month will be charged on all overdue payments.
• All rates exclude VAT and levies and exclude agency commission (if applicable).
• Non-payment will result in Legal action to recoup costs incurred in production.
CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY
Essential Media shall take all responsible steps to protect the personal information of clients and users. For the purpose of this clause "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://lawsofsouthafrica.up.ac.za/index.php/current-legislation.
PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard and American Express, or any additional method supported by Pay Gate. Cash payments will not be accepted in the Online store or for Advertisement packages. For advertising booking E.F.T payment will be accepted, on receipt of your application form for booking you advertising an invoice will be generated, and on the invoice will be the company banking details for payment via E.F.T, Payment must be received and reflect as clear before any work is commenced or product/s and service/s is to be featured on any of the platforms booked.
CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY
Card Transactions will be acquired for Essential Media via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for All South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS
Customer details will be stored by Essential Media separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate's secure site.
DIGITAL MAGAZINES & FLIPBOOK POLICY
Once payment is complete you will receive 3 files for download (sent to the email address you entered at checkout), our Flipbooks come in two versions (Windows & Mac OS), the third file included is a Low-res PDF. The files must be downloaded within 72 hours of purchase, after which the link will expire. Once the files of your choice are downloaded you can save them to your computer, external Drive or anywhere else you prefer as a personal copy, no passwords or internet links required.
Some of the digital magazines may contain "Free Sample" stickers on the covers, please note these stickers were for the printed publications and do not apply to the Digital Flipbooks or Low-res PDF’s.
Our Digital Magazines and Flipbooks are only authorized for sale or distribution by Essential Media, any unauthorized sales or distribution will be met with legal action, please report any non-Essential Media sales to 087 700 6301.
ARTWORK POLICY
All Artwork, Images and Videos must be supplied in High-Res Quality (72-300dpi+), so long as the quality is professional.
Alternatively we can design artwork/advertisements on behalf of clients for an additional charge, designs will be based on the size of the advert booked and to artwork needed to be created. Rates have to be approved by clients and payment received in full before our team will start to design the clients advert.
Once payment is received and the necessary files have been uploaded, your online advertisement will be secured and displayed online (within 2 working days) or secured/designed for the Wedding Essentials Magazine (Print & Digital).
UPLOADING ARTWORK/FILES
Once payment has been received and the necessary files have been uploaded your advertisement will be secured and displayed online (within 2 working days) or secured/designed for the Wedding Essentials Magazine (Print & Digital).
• Clients can follow the Forms on the "Advertise with Us" page to Apply for an Advertisement package, once payment has been made, clients can then use the second form to upload their files.
• Depending on the advertisement package, clients must supply the correct files for us to work with.
• Dedicated video's (on the Home page and in the Service Providers sub-pages) can either be supplied as physical files or as video links (YouTube and Vimeo are supported)
REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS
For Online advertisement under the Service Providers directory, your files should consist of:
• A text document containing your brief company description (1,000 Words Maximum), your website links and any social media links or video links (YouTube Channel) you would like to include.
• Images and/or Videos (Up to 15 images/videos are allowed per dedicated page with a maximum of 3 video files allowed)
APPROVAL OF ARTWORK
Artwork must be approved by clients. If any changes need to be made the client can send us those changes, once changes have been made the client will receive a new link to view said changes. Clients are only allowed 3 changes, after which they will be charged R250 (per hour) for addition changes.
RESPONSIBILITY
Essential Media takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
COUNTRY OF DOMICILE
This Website is governed by the Laws of South Africa and Essential Media chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect to court process, notice or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature
VARIATION
Essential Media may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
